Introducing Minh Nghiem, OpenAQ’s new Applied Data Fellow
OpenAQ is delighted to welcome Minh Nghiem to our team. As our first Applied Data Fellow, Minh will support data initiatives to improve access, user experience, and availability of OpenAQ’s platforms and tools for both developers and less-technical users, as well as partaking in global advocacy for open data and clean air actions.
Minh brings extensive international experience from Vietnam, Japan, and the United States, where she has worked in research, program management, and data collection/analysis, often in collaboration with governments, businesses, and international organizations.
Minh holds a Master of Science in Computational Analysis & Public Policy from the University of Chicago (US), and a Bachelor of Business Administration from both the Foreign Trade University (Vietnam) and California State University, Fullerton (US).
Her fellowship with OpenAQ is made possible through the Applied Data Fellowship, a University of Chicago program based at the Harris School of Public Policy. The program embeds talented young professionals with strong data skills into local government and nonprofit organizations across the United States.
