OpenAQ welcomes Gabe Fosse, our new Data Analyst and Developer

We are thrilled to welcome Gabriel Fosse as the newest member of our team. As our Data Analyst and Developer, Gabe will support the development and maintenance of our air quality database.

As a data scientist and IoT developer, Gabe brings over 10 years of experience across the public and private sectors specializing in neural networks, data systems automation, and environmental technology development.

Most recently, he completed IoT development projects with the City of Albuquerque related to crime prevention and transit management. Prior to that he worked in conjunction with Technology Solution Labs where he created an award-winning civic tech mobile app using machine learning to increase enrollment in preschool Head Start programs for the New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department. He has also worked as an XR developer with immersive design studios and as a drone cinematographer for film productions with Netflix.

Gabe earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of New Mexico and has certificates in Cinematography, Data Science, and IoT Development. In his spare time, he enjoys performing as an internationally recognized Flamenco guitarist and dance accompanist.
